Abu Dhabi Partners with Microsoft to Build AI-Powered Government by 2027

The Abu Dhabi government has partnered with U.S. tech giant Microsoft to develop cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, and digital services for government operations.

This initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s ambition to establish the world’s first AI-native government, set to be operational by 2027. Additionally, the country aims to enhance citizen services, ensuring greater transparency and security.

“AI will transform how governments operate and serve their citizens everywhere, and Abu Dhabi is leading the way,” said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, as quoted by Cryptopolitan.

Previously, Microsoft invested $1.5 billion in G42, a UAE-based company, as the Middle East continues to accelerate its focus on technological advancements.
